Tamron Co.,Ltd. revised consolidated financial forecast for the first half ending June 30, 2022 and year ending December 31, 2022. For the six months, the company expects net sales of ¥31,700 million compared to previous guidance of ¥29,000 million, operating income of ¥5,650 million compared to previous guidance of ¥3,800 million, profit attributable to owners of parent of ¥4,550 million compared to previous guidance of ¥2,660 million, net income per share of ¥218.14 compared to previous guidance of ¥127.59.
For the year, the company expects net sales of ¥63,700 million compared to previous guidance of ¥62,400 million, operating income of ¥9,700 million compared to previous guidance of ¥8,500 million, profit attributable to owners of parent of ¥6,930 million compared to previous guidance of ¥5,840 million, net income per share of ¥331.96 compared to previous guidance of ¥280.12.
Tamron Co.,Ltd. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in manufacture and sale of photography-related, lens-related and special equipment-related products. The Company operates through three business segments. The Photography business is engaged in the manufacture and sale of interchangeable lenses for single-lens reflex cameras and interchangeable lenses for mirrorless cameras. The Special Equipment business is engaged in the manufacture and sale of lenses for surveillance cameras, vehicles, factory automation (FA) and machine vision. The Lens business is engaged in the manufacture and sale of video camera lenses, digital camera lenses, drone lenses, and various optical device components.
