Taiwan Fertilizer Co. Ltd. (TSEC:1722) agreed to acquire remaining 50% stake in Taiwan Yes Deep Ocean Water Co., Ltd. from Young Energy Source Co., Ltd for TWD 420 million on December 25, 2012. Taiwan Fertilizer will acquire 35 million shares of Taiwan Yes Deep. The consideration will be paid in three installments of TWD 140 million each. First payment will be paid on signing of the agreement, second payment on completion of the share registration and final payment on the handover of asset and liabilities.
Taiwan Fertilizer Co. Ltd. (TSEC:1722) completed the acquisition of remaining 50% stake in Taiwan Yes Deep Ocean Water Co., Ltd. from Young Energy Source Co., Ltd on January 7, 2013. As of March 26, 2013, TWD 280 million is paid.
Taiwan Fertilizer Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of fertilizers, chemical products and electronic chemicals. Its fertilizer products include ammonium sulfates, calcium superphosphates, compound fertilizers, organic fertilizers, urea and potassium chlorides. Its chemical products include industrial urea, liquid ammonia, nitric acids and sulfuric acids. Its electronic chemicals include photo resist agents, strippers, purifiers, organic acids and others. In addition, the Company is also engaged in property development. The Company conducts its businesses in domestic and overseas markets.
