Britain's best loved antiques experts are back for another battle of brains, buying and banter - and this series sees an astonishing find in the north of Scotland, delivering a huge profit for one of our teams!

Whilst visiting Cullen Collectables in Buckie, Banffshire in the north of Scotland, eagle eyed expert Charlie Ross spied a rare, early 19th century, Staffordshire elephant, which he bought for a mere £8. The hammer price received for the item was an astonishing £2700, which took everyone by surprise and gave a record profit for Antiques Road Trip, and Charlie an impressive advantage over competitor, James Braxton.

said: "I was absolutely delighted to be the one to find such a rare collector's item. This time I was the lucky one. The dealer that James and I visited had two premises, and on another day, the astonishing find might well have been his."
