Yesterday, Stellantis announced a partnership with the California Air Resources Board (CARB).

As part of this agreement, and in line with its ambition to be carbon neutral by 2038, Stellantis plans to intensify its commitment to electrification through communication campaigns on the benefits of electric vehicles (EVs) to consumers and distributors in the United States.

In particular, the company plans to collaborate with Veloz, a leader in the promotion of electric vehicles at reduced rates, and to contribute a further 10 million euros to the installation of public charging stations.

According to Carlos Tavares, CEO of Stellantis, 'thanks to this agreement, 10 to 12 million tons of greenhouse gas emissions can be reduced, and this partnership will also enable our American customers to benefit fully from our innovative technologies with five plug-in hybrid models and two 100% electric vehicles'.
