A total of 149,411 cars were registered in Italy in May compared with 121,349 registrations in the same month of 2022, representing a 23.13 percent increase, according to data from the Ministry of Transport.
The Stellantis group -- which includes the Fiat, Jeep, Lancia, Chrysler, Alfa Romeo, Peugeot, Opel, Citroen/Ds. brands, among others -- saw growth of 3.5 percent with a market share of 32.9 percent from 34.05 percent in April, based on Reuters calculations.
