State Street Corp. Appoints Jorg Ambrosius and Mike Fontaine as Co-Heads of Global Services for EMEA

State Street Corp. has appointed Jorg Ambrosius and Mike Fontaine as co-heads as its head of Global Services for EMEA. In his new role, Ambrosius will be responsible for continue driving and executing State Street's servicing strategy for the domestic markets in region. Prior to this appointment, Ambrosius worked for State Street as executive vice president, co-chair EMEA Global Services. Previously, he also worked for Deutsche Bank as its vice president. He has also worked with Vereinigte Volksbank AG Cochem. The appointments follow Liz Nolan’s elevation to CEO of EMEA and the upcoming departure of Susan Dargan, who has resigned due to personal reasons. He will remain based in Munich.Fontaine, who earlier serves as executive vice president of US investor services, has relocated from Boston to Dublin. In their new roles, Ambrosius and Fontaine will continue to drive and execute State Street’s servicing strategy for the domestic markets in region.Ambrosius will concentrate on onshore while Fontaine will be responsible for offshore markets.Both of them will report to Nolan as well as Andrew Erickson, head of the global services business worldwide.
