Star Asia Investment Corporation (TSE:3468) agreed to acquire Trust Beneficiary Interests in Nihonbashi Hamacho Park Building from Domestic GK for ¥1.5 billion on January 12, 2018. On January 12, 2018, Star Asia Investment Corporation executed an agreement on transfer of contractual status in which Star Asia Capital Japan LLC agreed to transfer its status as a purchaser under the trust beneficial interest sale and purchase agreement for the property to Star Asia Investment Corporation (TSE:3468) Star Asia Investment Corporation (TSE:3468) agreed to acquire Trust Beneficiary Interests In Nihonbashi Hamacho Park Building from Domestic GK for ¥1.5 billion on January 12, 2018. In a related transaction, Star Asia Investment Corporation also agreed to acquire Trust Beneficiary Interests in Urban Park Koenji, Cradle Ryokuchi Keon and Matsubushi Logistics from GK SAPR6, GK SAPR5 and GK Viper respectively and Trust Beneficiary Interests In Funabashi Nishiura Logistics I, Funabashi Nishiura Logistics II from GK Viper. With respect to Nihonbashi Hamacho Park Building, Star Asia Capital Japan LLC paid ¥30 million to the seller as earnest money on the date of execution of the trust beneficial interest sale and purchase agreement. Star Asia Investment Corporation will pay the remaining purchase price after deduction of the said earnest money to the seller and also pay ¥30 million to Star Asia Capital Japan LLC as reimbursement of the said earnest money, on February 2, 2018. The transaction will be financed from the proceeds of the issuance of new investment units through public offering, new borrowings and cash on hand and is expected to be completed on February 2, 2018.
