Star Asia Investment Corporation agreed to acquire Trust Beneficiary Interests In Funabashi Nishiura Logistics I and Funabashi Nishiura Logistics II from GK Viper for ¥3.8 billion on January 12, 2018. The consideration comprise of ¥3 billion for acquisition of Trust Beneficiary Interests In Funabashi Nishiura Logistics I and ¥0.82 billion for acquisition of Trust Beneficiary Interests In Funabashi Nishiura Logistics II. In a related transaction, Star Asia Investment Corporation also agreed to acquire Trust Beneficiary Interests in Nihonbashi Hamacho Park Building, Cradle Ryokuchi Keon, Matsubushi Logistics, Urban Park Koenji from Domestic GK, GK SAPR5, GK 29er and GK SAPR6 respectively. The transaction will be financed from proceeds from the issuance of new investment units through public offering, new borrowings and cash on hand and is expected to be completed on February 2, 2018. Toshinobu Kawanishi of Jones Lang LaSalle, Inc. acted as the real estate broker in the transaction.
