Savills : rating expands further with new appointment

International real estate advisor Savills has added to its growing rating team with the appointment of William Illingworth who will be based at the firm's Finsbury Circus office in the City of London.

William joins Savills as an associate having previously worked in the rating team at Colliers International. He has particular expertise in the office, retail and industrial sectors and will continue this at Savills mainly focussing on Greater London and the South East.

William's appointment demonstrates the continued growth of Savills rating team with Richard Garner and Kathleen Marsland both joining the team as an associate from the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) earlier this year.

David Parker, head of rating at Savills, comments: 'William will be a new superb addition to our expanding team and will complement the wide variety of existing expertise within the department. With the rating landscape changing dramatically following the revaluation list published by the VOA in April this year, and a subsequent new appeals process, being able to offer our clients comprehensive advice is critical and these new appointments will allow us to augment our first class offer further.'
