Kames Capital, jointly represented by Savills and Hartnell Taylor Cook, has let 5,040 sq ft (468 sq m) of office space at St James Court to the Centre For Sustainable Energy.

The national charity has agreed a new 10 year lease on the first floor of St James Court at a rent of £21.50 per sq ft (£231 per sq m). The building, in the heart of the city centre is situated in between Cabot Circus shopping centre and the Bristol bus station. The 23,176 sq ft (2,153 sq m) property recently underwent comprehensive refurbishment and provides air conditioned open plan office space with an impressive central glass atrium.

The last remaining two suites of 4,767 sq ft (443 sq m) and 973 sq ft (90 sq m) are available on new leases directly from the landlord at quoting rents of £21.50 per sq ft (£231 per sq m).

Harry Allen, associate in the office agency team at Savills Bristol, comments: 'We are pleased to have secured the Centre for Sustainable Energy as the newest tenants at St James Court. The deal represents the strength of the city centre office market and demand for refurbished offices with good public transport links.'
