Samaiden Group Berhad announced promotion of Dr. Tee Wu Shun from Head of Group Strategy Development to Chief Strategy Officer with effect from 2 January 2024. Age is 36. Qualifications: Doctorate in Economics from University Putra Malaysia, Masters in Financial Economics from University Putra Malaysia and Others in Certified International Credit Professional from National Association of Credit Management.

Working experience and occupation: Dr. Tee's career journey commenced in 2013 with Shell, a renowned multinational Oil and Gas corporation, where he served as a Credit Analyst, primarily focused on debt collection and credit assessment activities. He left Shell in 2015 and joined Huntsman Corporation, where he was responsible to oversee the credit management works for Asia-Pacific region. In 2016, Dr. Tee joined Air Liquide as a Credit Lead.

He played a pivotal role in migrating credit management processes from Taiwan, Philippines, and Singapore to Malaysia. In 2018, he took on a similar role at Air Products, where he served as the Asia Credit Manager. His responsibilities included overseeing credit-related functions, managing accounts receivable reporting, and developing analytical dashboards for the Asia region.

In May 2021, Dr. Tee Wu Shun joined TTL Group as a Business Development and Marketing Head. In this role, he successfully led the deployment of Sales Force and contributed to the company's exploration of new business industries. Dr. Tee joined Samaiden Group Berhad in 2022 as the Head of Group Strategy Development, where he holds the responsibility for leading and managing the development of the group's overarching strategy.

Within his purview, he oversees several functions, including strategy development, marketing, and business analytics. His role extends to various key areas within Samaiden Group, encompassing continuous improvement initiatives, sustainability development, business transformation efforts, expansion of overseas business operations and Merger & Acquisition (M&A) activities. He is promoted to Chief Strategy Officer on 2 January 2024.
