R&AC Co., Ltd.announced a private placement of 50 shares at ¥400,000 per share for gross proceeds of ¥20,000,000 on October 21, 2016. The transaction will include participation from new investor, SAKURA KCS Corporation (TSE:4761). On closing, the investor will hold 7.2% stake in the company. The company and the investor entered into a capital alliance contract on the same date. The transaction is by way of third party allocation of shares to the investor. The transaction is expected to close on October 27, 2016.
SAKURA KCS Corporation is mainly engaged in the provision of information services and the sale of system equipment. The Company operates in three business segments, including Financial-related segment, Public-related segment and Industrial-related segment, which focus on financial institutions, local public authorities and general corporations, respectively. The Company involves in the customized development of application software, the development and sale of packaged software, the operation of system consulting business, the contracted calculation processing, the provision of application service provider (ASP) services, computer center management and operation services, business support services for financial institutions, data inputting services, housing services and hosting services, and computer maintenance services. The Company also involves in the maintenance of computers, the sale of various supplies, and the sale of various computers and other devices.
