The GME (Groupement Momentané d'Entreprises), comprising NSE, Safran Electronics & Defense, Sofema and Thales, has won the MERCURE contract from the SIMMT (Structure intégrée du maintien en condition opérationnelle des matériels terrestres), announces NSE.
Worth a maximum of almost 300 million euros (excluding VAT) over a 7-year period, this contract will enable the Ministry of the Armed Forces to meet the challenges of managing the wide diversity of its equipment requirements for the armed forces, and the need to acquire equipment in a reactive and flexible way.
The solution provided by the GME coordinated by NSE fully meets these challenges, by bringing together the strong, recognized expertise of French manufacturers and distributors who are leaders in their sector", states the NSE press release.
