Rogers is committed to making a difference for the diverse communities and customers they serve. And, together with Sportsnet, they've set to partner with Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) this weekend to broadcast the first-ever national NHL game in the Plains Cree language! This Sunday, March 24, hockey fans will have the chance be a part of history as APTN airs Sportsnet's live coverage of the Montreal Canadiens vs. Carolina Hurricanes match-up with Cree-language play-by-play, analysis and intermissions.

Sunday's historic broadcast will also fittingly complement this weekend's Rogers Hometown Hockey stop in Enoch Cree Nation, AB - the first Indigenous community to host the ultimate hockey festival.

Prior to puck-drop, Sportsnet and Rogers Hometown Hockey will tee-up the milestone broadcast with United by Sport: A Celebration of Hockey & Indigenous Culture. The 30-minute, in-depth discussion will feature Indigenous community leaders and influencers online and across social media.
