The automaker saw its worldwide sales increase by 1.9% in the first half, to 1,154,700 units, compared with 1,133,478 units a year ago.

Renault also recorded a 6.7% rise in half-year volumes in Europe, to 847,623 vehicles, confirming its third place in a market up 5.5%. (Written by Elena Smirnova, edited by Augustin Turpin)
