RAIA DROGASIL S.A.

In compliance with Rule 358 of January 3, 2002 of the
Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil ("CVM") and
amendments thereto, Raia Drogasil S.A. ("Company")
announces to its shareholders and the general market that,
pursuant to CVM Rule 384 of March 17, 2003, on January 2,
2012, the Company entered into a market maker agreement with
Itauvest DTVM S.A., a company inscribed in the corporate
taxpayers register (CNPJ/MF) under number
92.880.749/0001-99, located at Pça. Alfredo Egydio Souza
Aranha, 100 - T. Conceicao 7 andar, in the city and state of
São Paulo, ("Agreement", "ITAUVEST" and "Market Maker",
respectively).The objective of said agreement is to increase
the liquidity of the common shares issued by Raia Drogasil
S.A. ("Company") and traded on BM&FBOVESPA. The
Agreement is initially for one year and may be renewed for a
similar period or terminated by either party through a
written notice thirty (30) days in advance. The Market
Maker's activities will begin on January 13, 2012. The
Company also informs that on the date of the Agreement, its
capital consisted of 330,386,000 common shares, 190,259,554
of which were outstanding.
