PT Selamat Sempurna Tbk announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was IDR 881,389 million compared to IDR 905,335 million a year ago. Operating income was IDR 154,147 million compared to IDR 155,725 million a year ago. Net income was IDR 108,908 million compared to IDR 101,539 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was IDR 19 compared to IDR 17 a year ago. For the half year, sales was IDR 1,772,247 million compared to IDR 1,793,485 million a year ago. Operating income was IDR 332,888 million compared to IDR 333,638 million a year ago. Net income was IDR 233,995 million compared to IDR 220,919 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was IDR 41 compared to IDR 38 a year ago.
PT Selamat Sempurna Tbk is an Indonesia-based company, which manufactures filters, radiators, oil coolers, condensers, brake pipe, fuel pipes, fuel tanks, exhaust systems and press parts. It manufactures radiators under brand name ADR and filters primarily under the brand, SAKURA. The Company operates through five segments. Filter segment offers two types of filters: air filters and liquid filters, such as oil filters, hydraulic filters and fuel filters. Radiator segment produces a range of radiators, from copper brass to aluminum type, for automotive and heavy-duty applications. Body Makers segment produces dump hoist and body makers of dump trucks, trailers, mixers and tanks. Trading segment records sales made by the Companyâs subsidiaries, PT Prapat Tunggal Cipta, Bradke Synergies Sdn. Bhd and Sure Filter (Thailand) Co., Ltd. Other Products segment records sales aside from the filter and radiator products, such as rubber, plastisol, brake and fuel pipes, fuel tanks, and mufflers.
