PT Central Proteinaprima Tbk announced audited consolidated earnings results for the year ended December 31, 2011. For the period, the company reported net sales of IDR 7,529,439 million compared to IDR 6,243,876 million a year ago. Loss before income tax was IDR 2,234,387 million compared to IDR 731,385 million a year ago. Loss for the year was IDR 2,036,203 million compared to IDR 635,614 million a year ago. Loss for the year attributable to owners of the parent entity was IDR 2,036,125 million or IDR 50.3 per basic share compared to IDR 635,482 million or IDR 15.7 per basic share a year ago. Net cash used in operating activities was IDR 45,689 million compared to net provided by operating activities of IDR 118,663 million a year ago. Acquisitions of property, plant and equipment were IDR 106,113 million compared to IDR 135,027 million a year ago.
PT Central Proteina Prima Tbk is an Indonesia-based integrated aquaculture shrimp and foods producer company. The Company's business includes feed, food, and farm and hatchery. Its feed business includes shrimp feed, fish feed, pet food, and aquatic animal healthcare solutions. Its products are sold in domestic and international markets. It supplies shrimp products to international markets, such as India, Vietnam, China, Japan, United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom, Belgium, France, Netherland, Germany and New Zealand. The Company's farm and hatchery business includes fish hatchery and shrimp hatchery. Its shrimp feed products include IRAWAN 681 V, IRAWAN 682 V, IRAWAN 683 PV, IRAWAN 683 SP, 581, 6003 and 6004, 999, 583 - SP and 583. Its shrimp feed products brands include Irawan, Bintang, Novo and Marine. Its aquatic animal healthcare solutions provide products, such as probiotics, feed additives, disinfectants and other products supporting shrimp and fish aquaculture.
