(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers on AIM in London on Thursday.

----------

AIM - WINNERS

----------

Proteome Sciences PLC, up 14% at 3.99 pence, 12-month range 2.65p-8.79p. The protein-focused drug development services provider says it is "confident and well positioned to see the business return to growth in 2024." It says that since the start of 2024, it has seen "significant" customer engagement and interest in proteomics services.

----------

Nexus Infrastructure PLC, up 13% at 93.20p, 12-month range 65.00p-175.00p. The civil engineering infrastructure services company rises as revenue falls to GBP25.8 million in the six months ended March 31 from GBP51.0 million a year earlier. Nexus says that this is in line with management expectations and reflects the continued challenging wider economic environment. It swings to a pretax loss of GBP1.5 million from a profit of GBP50,000. Looking ahead, Nexus says that market sentiment remains consistent that there will be a recovery in the housebuilding market over the next 18 months.

AIM - LOSERS

----------

Scirocco Energy PLC, down 10% at 0.22p, 12-month range 0.15p-0.68p. The investment firm, focused on European sustainable energy assets, shares fall as company cancels listing on AIM. It says it is now engaged with pre-liquidation preparation. It proposed the delisting back in April, noting the unsustainable associated costs of its listing. "The considerable cost and management time and the legal and regulatory burden associated with maintaining the company's admission to trading on AIM are, in the board's opinion, disproportionate to the benefits", Scirocco Energy said.
