PostRock Energy Corporation, along with its affiliates, filed a voluntary petition for reorganization under Chapter 11 in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Oklahoma on April 1, 2016. The affiliates include PostRock Energy Services Corporation, PostRock MidContinent Production LLC, PostRock Eastern Production, LLC and PostRock Holdco, LLC. The debtor listed its assets of $4.61 million and liabilities of $62.26 million.

The largest unsecured creditors include BBVA Compass, Cadence Bank N.A., Oklahoma Tower Realty, CIT Bank, National Association, Texas Capital Bank, N.A., Transtex Hunter, Llc, Black Land Management, Inc., Compressor Systems Inc., Nalco Champion, and Citibank, N.A. The debtor is represented by Mark A. Craige, John Napier and Christopher M. Staine of Crowe & Dunlevy PC, Thompson & Knight, LLP and Vinson & Elkins LLP as its legal counsels. The services of John Napier of Crowe & Dunlevy was terminated on April 25, 2016. Stephen J. Moriarty has been appointed as the trustee.

The trustee hired Stephen J. Moriarty of Fellers, Snider, Blankenship, Bailey & Tippens, P.C. as legal counsel at an hourly rate of $365. The Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors hired Larry Glenn Ball of Hall, Estill, Hardwick, Gable, Golden & Nelson, P.C. as legal counsel.
