Polaris Expands Industry-Leading Service Program to Canada
RideReady Digital Service Platform Connects Powersports Owners with Local Dealers, Making Vehicle Service and Support More Convenient
MINNEAPOLIS (September 15, 2021) - Polaris Inc. (NYSE: PII), the global leader in Powersports, announced today it is expanding its industry-leading, on-demand digital service platform to Canada. RideReady makes servicing and maintaining off-road vehicles (ORV), snowmobiles, motorcycles and Polaris Slingshot convenient and easy.
Launched in the U.S. in July 2020, RideReady helps simplify Powersports ownership by connecting owners with Polaris and Indian Motorcycle dealerships to seamlessly manage vehicle service needs. RideReady provides simple, transparent tools to understand and manage vehicle maintenance so owners can get maximum utility and enjoyment with minimum downtime and inconvenience.
'We are excited to bring the RideReady service platform to Canada and allow more riders the opportunity to connect with dealers in a manner like never before,' said Vic Koelsch, Polaris chief digital officer. 'We know that 50 percent of existing RideReady users schedule service appointments outside normal dealership business hours, showing the importance of flexible options. This expansion will help bring that convenience to additional owners and in turn help enhance dealer relationships.'
RideReady users enjoy the convenience of online scheduling of appointments, visibility into services and pricing along with easy access to service and maintenance information to keep their vehicle running at peak performance.
'Having the ability to easily select the service needed and schedule an appointment when it is convenient to me eliminates the hassle and worry about it interfering with work,' a RideReady user shared via survey in June 2021.
To experience the benefits, owners can log on to RideReadyService.com and set-up an account and their virtual garage to gain access to maintenance information and service recommendations, 'how-to' content specific to the registered vehicles, schedule online service appointments with participating local dealers and manage all of their vehicle maintenance and service needs.
