Pierre & Vacances has published group sales for the 1st quarter of 390.7 ME, up 9.9% on the same period last year, according to its own operational reporting, which it considers "more representative of its business".

Accommodation sales came to €272.4 million, up +19.6% on the same quarter last year.

Sales for other tourism activities came to €71.2 million, up 18.7%, driven by higher on-site sales (+22.1%, in line with the trend observed in the accommodation business) and growth in the demaeva.com distribution and management business (+3.6% over the quarter).

Lastly, sales from other activities came to 47.1 million euros, compared with 67.8 million euros in Q1 2021/2022 (a decline with no significant impact on EBITDA).

'Given the bookings portfolio to date for Q2 2022/2023, the Group currently anticipates continued growth in business compared with Q2 2021/2022, across all brands', says Pierre & Vacances.
