PI Industries Limited reported earnings results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2022. For the first quarter, the company reported sales was INR 15,432 million compared to INR 11,938 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 15,673 million compared to INR 12,215 million a year ago. Net income was INR 2,624 million compared to INR 1,872 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 17.3 compared to INR 12.34 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 17.29 compared to INR 12.34 a year ago.

The Agro chemicals segment includes Agchem exports (CSM) and Domestic Agri Brands. The Pharma segment comprises contract research and development, contract development and manufacturing of active. It also includes materials and intermediates used in the pharmaceutical industry. The Company offers services, such as research and development services, CSM services, distribution services. The research and development services comprise target, discovery, molecule design, library synthesis, lead optimization, biological evaluation and route synthesis. It also provides Shield (fungicide) and Londax Power (rice herbicide) products. It offers services in areas, such as contract research, process development, analytical method development, process safety data generation and detailed process engineering.
