PGIM Short Duration High Yield Fund, Inc. announced unaudited earnings results for the quarter ended November 30, 2018. For the quarter the company reported Net Investment Income was $8,396,985 against $8,814,081 a year ago. Net Decrease in Net Assets From Operations was $4,896,793 against profit of $3,733,423 a year ago. Net Decrease in Net Assets From Operations per share was $0.15 against profit of $0.12 a year ago. Net investment income per share was $0.25 against $0.27 a year ago.
PGIM High Yield Bond Fund, Inc. (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fundâs investment objective is to provide a high level of current income. The Fund is focused on investing at least 80% of its investable assets in a diversified portfolio of high yield fixed income instruments that are rated below investment grade with varying maturities and other investments, including derivatives with similar economic characteristics. The Fund may invest up to 20% of its investable assets in United States currency denominated and/or foreign currency denominated fixed income instruments issued by foreign issuers. The Fund invests in various industries, which include telecommunications, oil and gas, affiliated mutual fund, commercial services, home builders, healthcare services, chemicals, entertainment, pipelines, electric, software, foods, real estate investment trusts (REITs), mining and computers.
