Paxys, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended December 31, 2019. For the second quarter, the company announced For the half year, sales was PHP 78.506 million compared to PHP 86.477 million a year ago. Net income was PHP 24.282 million compared to PHP 14.087 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was PHP 0.03 compared to PHP 0.018 a year ago. Sales was PHP 9.443 million compared to PHP 20.150 million a year ago. Net loss was PHP 5.622 million compared to net income of PHP 8.853 million a year ago. Sales was PHP 26.033 million compared to PHP 41.534 million a year ago. Net loss was PHP 10.404 million compared to net income of PHP 12.632 million a year ago.
Paxys Inc. is a Philippines-based investment holding company. The Company operates through its subsidiary, Scopeworks Asia, Inc. (SWA), which is an export-oriented business process outsourcing company. SWA provides outsourcing services, including data transcription services, customer service, facilities and support services, and back-office services to domestic and foreign institutions, as well as to multinational companies based in the Philippines and abroad. The Company operates through two segments, namely Outsourcing and Others. The Outsourcing segment includes primarily facilities management. The Others segment includes the operations of the parent company.
