Cloud services provider OVHcloud reported a rise in third-quarter sales on Thursday, with the group saying the result was driven by good growth in sovereign offerings, particularly in the public sector.

Third-quarter sales rose by 9.0% on a like-for-like basis to 251 million euros, above analysts' expectations, who were on average expecting like-for-like growth of 7.8%, in a consensus compiled by the group.

On the French market, which accounts for almost half of OVHcloud's sales, sales rose by 7.9% on a like-for-like basis, while Europe excluding France posted growth of 8.6%.
