JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) — JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) — Organon & Co. (OGN) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $546 million.

On a per-share basis, the Jersey City, New Jersey-based company said it had profit of $2.13. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 88 cents per share.

The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 80 cents per share.

The pharmaceutical company posted revenue of $1.6 billion in the period, also surpassing Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.55 billion.

For the year, the company reported profit of $1.02 billion, or $3.99 per share. Revenue was reported as $6.26 billion.

Organon expects full-year revenue in the range of $6.2 billion to $6.5 billion.
