EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) _ Old National Bancorp (ONB) on Tuesday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $74.1 million.

The Evansville, Indiana-based bank said it had earnings of 44 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 46 cents per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 38 cents per share.

The holding company for Old National Bank posted revenue of $231.8 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $223.1 million, also topping Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $204.1 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $226.4 million, or $1.36 per share. Revenue was reported as $849 million.

Old National Bancorp shares have climbed roughly 8% since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped nearly 3% in the last 12 months.
