Japan 3D DEVICES Co., Ltd. announced a private placement of 6,800 common shares at ¥50,000 per share for gross proceeds of ¥340,000,000 on April 30, 2014. The shares were subscribed by existing investor Okamoto Glass Co., Ltd. The transaction was approved at the board of directors' meeting of the investor. Pursuant to the transaction, there will be 7,000 outstanding shares of the company, the paid-in capital will be ¥170,000,000 and the total capital will be ¥175,000,000.
On April 30, 2014, Japan 3D DEVICES Co., Ltd. closed the transaction.
OKAMOTO GLASS CO.,LTD. is a Japan-based company engaged in the manufacture and sale of special-purpose glass used for industrial, as well as multi-layer film evaporation products. The Company operates through two business segments. The Optical segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of reflectors for projectors, fly-eye lenses, reflectors for digital cinema projectors and infrared transmission filters for automobiles. The Lighting segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of head lenses and fog lenses for automobiles, as well as glass products for general lighting. In addition, the Company is also engaged in the manufacture and sale of medical glass products, such as dental mirrors, door glass for washing machines, frits and functional thin films.
