Northern Trust announced that Ryan McCauley was promoted to Senior Managing Director for the Foundation & Institutional Advisors (FIA) practice in the West Region. In this role, McCauley will lead a team focused on working with foundations, endowments and nonprofit institutions in the development of innovative, comprehensive and customized solutions to meet the diverse goals and needs of its clients. McCauley joined Northern Trust in 2017.

Prior to his current position, McCauley served as Regional Director for Foundation & Institutional Advisors in Arizona, Colorado and Texas, focusing on providing education, training, investment management, performance reporting, and custody services to clients. Before joining Northern Trust, McCauley was a vice president and relationship manager for higher education, healthcare and not-for-profit organizations at J.P. Morgan covering clients in Texas and Alabama. He served institutional clients in a variety of capacities including investment policy, board governance, investment management and commercial lending.

He has earned FINRA securities license series 6, 7, 63 and 79. McCauley received his bachelor?s degree in English from Saint Louis University and completed the Leadership Institute for Nonprofit Executives at Rice University. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Houston Community College Foundation, where he and his wife chaired the 50th Anniversary Gold Gala.

He is also development committee chair for the Fort Bend Education Foundation and on the finance & administration committee for BakerRipley, a Texas-based nonprofit focused on creating opportunities in underserved communities.
