Nissan's North American International Auto Show introductions include an expansion to the company's utility vehicle lineup, in the form of the Rogue Sport, derived from the internationally offered Qashqai. The Rogue Sport is a five-passenger, two-row vehicle, whereas the Rogue is a three-row offering. Nissan began preparing for this move with the addition of current-generation Rogue production at its Kyushu, Japan, plant. The Rogue Sport will be imported from Japan, while Rogue continues Tennessee production.
