Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation reported consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2012. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of JPY 112,378 million, operating income of JPY 6,194 million, ordinary income of JPY 5,833 million and net income of JPY 3,059 million or JPY 7.71 per share compared to net sales of JPY 116,268 million, operating income of JPY 7,636 million, ordinary income of JPY 8,086 million and net income of JPY 3,325 million or JPY 8.33 per share for the same period a year ago.
The company provided earnings guidance for the first half ending September 30, 2012 and year ending March 31, 2013. For the first half of 2013, the company expects net sales of JPY 232,000 million, operating income of JPY 14,800 million, ordinary income of JPY 13,300 million and net income of JPY 7,600 million or JPY 19.15 per share.
For the year ending March 31, 2013, the company expects net sales of JPY 486,000 million, operating income of JPY 32,800 million, ordinary income of JPY 30,200 million and net income of JPY 17,400 million or JPY 43.84 per share.
