Newretail Co., Ltd reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 28.03 million compared to TWD 58.58 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 10.64 million compared to TWD 5.35 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.37 compared to TWD 0.18 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 48.25 million compared to TWD 95.68 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 20.07 million compared to TWD 15.67 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.69 compared to TWD 0.6 a year ago.
NEWRETAIL CO., LTD is a Taiwan-based company primarily engaged in the provision of search engine marketing (SEM) services. The Company provides the integrated e-marketing solutions for manufacturers and suppliers in Taiwan and China to increase product exposures and order invoices for its clients. The Company provides a variety of services, including Taiwan Products Online, B2BManufactures.com (BMS) publishing marketing, very important person (VIP) network marketing, B2BChinaSources.com (BCS) Website membership services, digital catalog and content management system services, as well as Chinese Website Wakema.com.tw, among others. The Company operates its businesses in Taiwan and Mainland China. On June 17, 2014, it merged with a wholly owned investment subsidiary. After that, the Company survived and the subsidiary was dissolved.
