Nankai Electric Railway Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the period, the company reported operating revenue of JPY 43,658 million compared to JPY 43,793 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 1,294 million compared to loss of JPY 1,701 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 68 million compared to loss of JPY 2,545 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was JPY 0.60 compared to loss of JPY 22.48 a year ago.
