Chairman of Japan Virtual and Crypto assets Exchange Association

Coincheck, Inc. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter referred to as "Coincheck") announces that Satoshi Hasuo, President of CoinScheck, has been appointed as Chairman of the Japan Virtual and Crypto assets Exchange Association (hereinafter referred to as "JVCEA") as of April 6, 2021.

JVCEA is a self-regulation entity for the crypto asset exchange business and the crypto asset related derivatives trading business. Its objective is to promote appropriate and smooth implementation of the crypto asset exchange business and the crypto asset related derivatives trading business, and to contribute to the sound development of the domestic crypto asset industry, and protection of users and investors.
