Methode Electronics Inc. : Methode Electronics Power Solutions Group’s FusionLug™ Now Underwriter Laboratories Recognized

Methode Electronics Power Solutions Group, a division of Methode Electronics, Inc. (NYSE:MEI), today announced its cable and wire termination technology, known as FusionLug™, a formed wire compression lug system, is now Underwriter Laboratories (UL) recognized for single and multiple conductor configurations under the UL 486 A and B standard. The FusionLug is part of Methode's Flexible Bus Bar system, and this new certification covers 10 AWG to 850 MCM for round and flat power conductors. Termination features such as lug size, angle, hole geometry and captured hardware are per customer requirements. The UL multi site listing applies to all Methode's Power Solution global manufacturing sites in Rolling Meadows, IL, Shanghai, China, and Mreihel, Malta.
