MaxLinear, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 135.53 million compared to USD 285.73 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 39.83 million compared to net income of USD 28.41 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.49 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 0.36 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.49 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 0.35 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was USD 567.91 million compared to USD 829.67 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 34.65 million compared to net income of USD 93.96 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.43 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 1.21 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.43 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 1.17 a year ago.
