Lufthansa reached deal with cabin crew over pay and pensions Frankfurt Lufthansa cabin crew will not go on strike again in the foreseeable future after the company came to an agreement with the flight attendants' union Ufo on pay and pensions, both sides. Further details on working arrangements are due to be discussed by a June 30 deadline at mediation talks chaired by Matthias Platzeck. Until then, the 19,000 flight attendants represented by Ufo are not allowed to go on strike.

The agreement with cabin crew follows an earlier deal struck by the airline with ground staff, who also chose to accept a change to their pension system involving fixed payments by the company.
