To offer its customers an even better performance in a still attractive price/performance ratio, Logic Instrument upgraded its K-Series tablets. The second generation of the rugged tablets is powered by a quad-core Intel® Atom x5-Z8300 'Cherry Trail' processor and 4GB of RAM. The maximum CPU frequency is 1,84GHz but the significant difference lies in the manufacturing process (14nm vs. 22nm of the previous version), which allows higher performance and lower operating temperatures at the same time. Therefore, the K-series still operates without fan.

The new platform enables to run Microsoft operating systems (8.1 and 10), as well as Google's Android version 5.1 (certified). The user is thus free to choose the most appropriate operating system suitable for his application.

Availability and Price

The K80 and K101 are available as Windows version from late March 2016 and the Android versions will follow 6 weeks later. The recommended retail price for the standard version (incl. WiFi, BT4.0, GPS, 4G, NFC) is for the K80 996 Euros and for the K101 1,249 Euros[1]without Windows license. Project and reseller prices upon request.

The tablets can be found on the CeBIT show in Hanover on the booth D71 Hall 15 (Planet Reseller).
