Leonardo sees orders at 19.5 bn in 2024, revenues at 16.8 bn

Leonardo expects gradual growth in new orders of about 19.5 billion in 2024, driven mainly by the Defense and Security Electronics sector and the recovery of the Aeronautics sector.

Revenues are expected at 16.8 billion, up from 16 billion in 2023, with Ebita of about 1.44 billion from 1.326 billion last year, a note said.

The group ended 2023 with net ordinary income up 6.5 percent to 742 million thanks mainly to the performance of Ebit.

Net income was 695 million, down 25.4 percent from 2002, when the figure reflected the gain realized from the divestitures of Leonardo DRS' Global Enterprise Solutions and Advanced Acoustic Concepts businesses.
