L&T Construction announced that has won new orders worth INR 29,620 million across various business segments. The Buildings & Factories Business has bagged new orders worth INR 15,550 million. A large turnkey order has been bagged from an information technology major for the design and construction of two technology centres and augmentation of existing utility buildings at Bangalore.

The scope Involves civil structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, finishes and other associated works. Another turnkey order is received from Govt of Odisha for infrastructure development in three government medical colleges in Cuttack, Sambalpur and Berhampur in Odisha. Each medical college will have new laboratories, library, lecture and examination halls, a 1500-seating capacity auditorium and student-faculty accommodation building.

The scope consists of design and construction of civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, finishes and associated works. An order has also been received from Cochin International Airport Limited to build the new international terminal complex building at Kochi. The state of art terminal building will have 15 aerobridges and the capacity to handle 10 million passengers annually.

This is the second order in the Airports segment since November 13th. Few additional orders were also received from various ongoing projects in the Buildings & Factories business. In the Water & Renewable Energy business, new orders worth INR 7,260 million have been received from the following works from different customers: Providing, laying, jointing, testing & commissioning of combined water supply scheme to 1891 habitations in Pudukkottai and Sivagangai districts of Tamil Nadu from Tamil Nadu Water Supply & Drainage Board, Development of waste water collection, treatment and reuse systems at Naya Raipur in Chhattisgarh from Naya Raipur Development Authority.

Udaipura Group Water Supply Scheme from Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam, which involves bringing 20.17 million Litres per day of treated water to 102 villages and 2 towns of the Raisen District in Madhya Pradesh. Development of the Bhama Askhed Water Supply Scheme from Pune Municipal Corporation. The Power Transmission & Distribution Business has bagged new orders worth INR 2,580 million.

A turnkey order is received from Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Ltd. for the work of supply, erection, testing and commissioning of a 400 kV double circuit transmission line from a proposed 400 kV Jammalamadugu substation in Kadapa district to 400 kV Uravakonda substation in Anantapur district with a route length of 132kms. Additional orders were also received from various ongoing jobs. Additional orders worth INR 4,230 million have also been received from various ongoing projects in Metallurgical & Material Handling, Heavy Civil and Transportation Infrastructure Businesses of the company.
