Laox CO., LTD. announced consolidated earnings results for the six months ended June 30, 2018. For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY 46,239 million as compared to JPY 28,153 million a year ago. Operating loss was JPY 848 million as compared to JPY 1,051 million a year ago. Ordinary loss was JPY 832 million as compared to JPY 1,045 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 428 million as compared to loss attributable to owners of parent of JPY 1,157 million a year ago. Profit per share was JPY 6.64 as compared to loss per share of JPY 17.95 a year ago. Total non-operating income was JPY 289.282 million as compared to JPY 143.927 million a year ago. Profit before income taxes was JPY 390.725 million as compared to loss before income taxes of JPY 1,133.524 million a year ago. Net cash provided by operating activities was negative JPY 3,525.328 million as compared to JPY 1,306.961 million a year ago. Purchase of property, plant and equipment was JPY 599.278 million as compared to JPY 1,699.053 million a year ago.
