Kung Long Batteries Industrial Co.,Ltd reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 2,039.87 million compared to TWD 783.89 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 253.16 million compared to TWD 53.62 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 3.09 compared to TWD 0.66 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 3.08 compared to TWD 0.66 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 5,734.82 million compared to TWD 4,424.73 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 776.38 million compared to TWD 481.74 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 9.48 compared to TWD 5.89 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 9.44 compared to TWD 5.87 a year ago.

The Companyâs primary products include sealed lighting batteries, locomotive batteries, automobile batteries and related raw materials. The Companyâs products are mainly used in uninterruptible power supply (UPS) devices, medical equipment, communication devices, firefighting equipment, wireless telephone apparatuses, lightening products, electronic equipment and toy cars, among others.
