Karazhyra AO is a Kazakhstan-based company, which is primarily focused on the coal industry. The Company is engaged in the exploration, mining and processing of coal. The Company's main coal deposit is located 135 kilometers south-west of the city of Semey in Semey Jean district of East Kazakhstan region. The Company's partners are Tsementnyy zavod Semey TOO, Korporatsiya Kazakhmys TOO, Bukhtarminskaya tsementnaya kompaniya AO, Ust'-Kamenogorskaya TETS AO, Sogrinskaya TETS TOO, among others. The Company's coal deposit relates to fossil fuels D category with an ash content of 12 to 25 percent, working moisture is 12-16 percent, volatile matter content - 47 percent. The Company operates domestically.
