Jetwing Symphony PLC reported unaudited group and company earnings results for the quarter full year ended March 31, 2019. For the year, on group basis, the company reported revenue of LKR 1,911,321,000 against LKR 1,515,032,000 a year ago. Profit from operations was LKR 645,173,000 against LKR 414,437,000 a year ago. Loss for the period was LKR 280,588,000 against LKR 348,618,000 a year ago. Basic loss per share for the period was LKR 0.56 against LKR 0.74 a year ago.
For the quarter, on group basis, the company reported revenue of LKR 608,145,000 against LKR 510,675,000 a year ago. Profit from operations was LKR 241,111,000 against LKR 201,796,000 a year ago. Profit for the period was LKR 89,237,000 against loss of LKR 2,645,000 a year ago. Basic earnings per share for the period was LKR 0.17 against loss of LKR 0.01 a year ago.
For the year, on company basis, the company reported profit from operations of LKR 4,176,000 against LKR 71,000 a year ago. Profit for the period was LKR 14,942,000 against LKR 3,562,000 a year ago. Basic earnings per share for the period was LKR 0.03 against LKR 0.01 a year ago.
For the quarter, on company basis, the company reported loss from operations of LKR 728,000 against profit of LKR 8,723,000 a year ago. Profit for the period was LKR 2,492,000 against LKR 9,356,000 a year ago. Basic earnings per share for the period was LKR 0.005 against LKR 0.019 a year ago.
