Thanks to a strong international presence in the premium priced category, Natural American Spirit will allow the JT Group to further extend its brand portfolio outside the United States. Its unique brand equity combined with a group of experienced and energetic people will further strengthen the Group's business foundation.
The JT Group's consolidated forecast for the FY2016, which will be disclosed at the announcement of the consolidated financial results for the FY2015, will incorporate the effects of this acquisition based on certain premises. The impact of the acquisition on the consolidated financial results for FY2016 will be examined during the course of the formulation of the business plan regarding the acquired business.
