Jameson Resources Limited announced that the 2018 exploration program at Crown Mountain that began in July has been nearly completed. Large diameter coring (LDC) was successful in acquiring adequate material to conduct a full suite of laboratory tests and washability studies, as well as conduct pilot coke oven evaluations. The pilot coke oven test is a critical component of determining coking parameters of the Crown Mountain product and will build on the excellent results obtained in 2013 from the smaller sole heated oven tests. The additional data obtained from this program will be incorporated into a revised geologic model and coal quality database. Small diameter coring ("SDC") was also utilized to acquire samples to determine the geotechnical properties of the overburden and pit footwall, and the geochemical characteristics of material to be placed in the spoil disposal site. Ten additional ground water monitoring wells have been established, with 8 more scheduled to be completed this month. The information gathered during this program will be used to support coal marketing efforts, design engineering, and the bankable feasibility study.
