ING has announced that it bought back 14,758,595 shares last week at an average price of 16.25 euros, for a total outlay of almost 239.9 million euros, as part of its 2.5 billion euro share buyback program announced on May 2.

The total number of shares bought back by the Dutch bank under this program thus stands at 44,06,341, for a total consideration of 712.9 million euros, or around 28.5% of the program's maximum total value.
