Dai-ichi Seiko Co., Ltd. reported consolidated and non-consolidated earnings results for the fiscal year ended December 2017. For the period on consolidated basis, the company reported net sales of JPY 51,925 million compared to JPY 45,834 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 2,604 million compared to JPY 401 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 2,509 million against JPY 800 million a year ago. Net income attributable to owners of parent was JPY 1,667 million or JPY 99.73 per share compared to JPY 157 million or JPY 9.41 per share a year ago.
For the period on non-consolidated basis, the company reported net sales of JPY 43,394 million compared to JPY 38,178 million a year ago. For the fiscal year ending December 31, 2018 on consolidated basis, the company expects net sales of JPY 55,100 million, operating income of JPY 3,300 million, Ordinary income of JPY 3,200 million, net income attributable to owners of parent of JPY 2,200 million or JPY 131.56 per share.
