0853 GMT - LG Energy Solution is among the most mentioned companies in the news over the past seven hours, according to Factiva data, after the South Korean company and Hyundai Motor Group said they will build a $4.3 billion electric-vehicle battery factory in the U.S. The plant will have an annual capacity of 30 gigawatt-hours, enough to support the production of 300,000 EVs, the companies said. Construction will start in the second half of 2023, and production will begin as early as end-2025. The battery facility will be built near Hyundai's new EV factory in Georgia.
